Me in 2011. The beard was shaven off the night of Thanksgiving 2010 after 16+ years as it was getting too scraggly. I grew it because when my kids were little, they saw me shaving one day and asked me why I didn't let my beard grow. I told them, "Make me a grandfather and I will', as I felt that every wee grandchild should have a grandfather's beard to tug on. In January 1994, my son and his wife had Aonghus; I promptly stopped shaving and switched from horn-rim glasses to more grandfatherly ones. The bump on my forehead is an extra memory chip.

Dear Steph, I'm sure gals in my year recall. I've added a photo of them in shop. Go to "Good Old Days" then "Class Photos" & scroll. Are you related to Joan?

Does anyone remember when the girls had to take shop in Grade 7 and the boys had to take cooking? And...the girls had to hand-sew their own graduation dresses!
